بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
-
79:1
وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًۭا
WaalnnaziAAati gharqan
By those [angels] who extract with violence
قسم ہے اُن (فرشتوں کی) جو ڈوب کر کھینچتے ہیں
-
79:2
وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطًۭا
Waalnnashitati nashtan
And [by] those who remove with ease
اور آہستگی سے نکال لے جاتے ہیں
-
79:3
وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًۭا
Waalssabihati sabhan
And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming
اور (اُن فرشتوں کی جو کائنات میں) تیزی سے تیرتے پھرتے ہیں
-
79:4
فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقًۭا
Faalssabiqati sabqan
And those who race each other in a race
پھر (حکم بجا لانے میں) سبقت کرتے ہیں
-
79:5
فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْرًۭا
Faalmudabbirati amran
And those who arrange [each] matter,
پھر (احکام الٰہی کے مطابق) معاملات کا انتظام چلاتے ہیں
-
79:6
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ
Yawma tarjufu alrrajifatu
On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation],
جس روز ہلا مارے گا زلزلے کا جھٹکا
-
79:7
تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ
TatbaAAuha alrradifatu
There will follow it the subsequent [one].
اور اس کے پیچھے ایک اور جھٹکا پڑے گا
-
79:8
قُلُوبٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ وَاجِفَةٌ
Quloobun yawmaithin wajifatun
Hearts, that Day, will tremble,
کچھ دل ہوں گے جو اُس روز خوف سے کانپ رہے ہوں گے
-
79:9
أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌۭ
Absaruha khashiAAatun
Their eyes humbled.
نگاہیں اُن کی سہمی ہوئی ہوں گی
-
79:10
يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ
Yaqooloona ainna lamardoodoona fee alhafirati
They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?
یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں "کیا واقعی ہم پلٹا کر پھر واپس لائے جائیں گے؟
-
79:11
أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًۭا نَّخِرَةًۭ
Aitha kunna AAithaman nakhiratan
Even if we should be decayed bones?
کیا جب ہم کھوکھلی بوسیدہ ہڈیاں بن چکے ہوں گے؟
-
79:12
قَالُوا۟ تِلْكَ إِذًۭا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌۭ
Qaloo tilka ithan karratun khasiratun
They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."
کہنے لگے "یہ واپسی تو پھر بڑے گھاٹے کی ہوگی
-
79:13
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ
Fainnama hiya zajratun wahidatun
Indeed, it will be but one shout,
حالانکہ یہ بس اتنا کام ہے کہ ایک زور کی ڈانٹ پڑے گی
-
79:14
فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ
Faitha hum bialssahirati
And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.
اور یکایک یہ کھلے میدان میں موجود ہوں گے
-
79:15
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ
Hal ataka hadeethu moosa
Has there reached you the story of Moses? -
کیا تمہیں موسیٰؑ کے قصے کی خبر پہنچی ہے؟
-
79:16
إِذْ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
Ith nadahu rabbuhu bialwadi almuqaddasi tuwan
When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,
جب اس کے رب نے اُسے طویٰ کی مقدس وادی میں پکارا تھا
-
79:17
ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ
Ithhab ila firAAawna innahu tagha
"Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.
کہ "فرعون کے پاس جا، وہ سرکش ہو گیا ہے
-
79:18
فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ
Faqul hal laka ila an tazakka
And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself
اور اس سے کہہ کیا تو اِس کے لیے تیار ہے کہ پاکیزگی اختیار کرے
-
79:19
وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ
Waahdiyaka ila rabbika fatakhsha
And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'"
اور میں تیرے رب کی طرف تیری رہنمائی کروں تو (اُس کا) خوف تیرے اندر پیدا ہو؟
-
79:20
فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلْءَايَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
Faarahu alayata alkubra
And he showed him the greatest sign,
پھر موسیٰؑ نے (فرعون کے پاس جا کر) اُس کو بڑی نشانی دکھائی
-
79:21
فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ
Fakaththaba waAAasa
But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.
مگر اُس نے جھٹلا دیا اور نہ مانا
-
79:22
ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ
Thumma adbara yasAAa
Then he turned his back, striving.
پھر چالبازیاں کرنے کے لیے پلٹا
-
79:23
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ
Fahashara fanada
And he gathered [his people] and called out
اور لوگوں کو جمع کر کے اس نے پکار کر کہا
-
79:24
فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
Faqala ana rabbukumu alaAAla
And said, "I am your most exalted lord."
میں تمہارا سب سے بڑا رب ہوں
-
79:25
فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَٱلْأُولَىٰٓ
Faakhathahu Allahu nakala alakhirati waaloola
So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression].
آخرکار اللہ نے اسے آخرت اور دنیا کے عذاب میں پکڑ لیا
-
79:26
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰٓ
Inna fee thalika laAAibratan liman yakhsha
Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah].
درحقیقت اِس میں بڑی عبرت ہے ہر اُس شخص کے لیے جو ڈرے
-
79:27
ءَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ ۚ بَنَىٰهَا
Aantum ashaddu khalqan ami alssamao banaha
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.
کیا تم لوگوں کی تخلیق زیادہ سخت کام ہے یا آسمان کی؟ اللہ نے اُس کو بنایا
-
79:28
رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا
RafaAAa samkaha fasawwaha
He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.
اُس کی چھت خوب اونچی اٹھائی پھر اُس کا توازن قائم کیا
-
79:29
وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا
Waaghtasha laylaha waakhraja duhaha
And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.
اور اُس کی رات ڈھانکی اور اُس کا دن نکالا
-
79:30
وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ
Waalarda baAAda thalika dahaha
And after that He spread the earth.
اِس کے بعد زمین کو اس نے بچھایا
-
79:31
أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعَىٰهَا
Akhraja minha maaha wamarAAaha
He extracted from it its water and its pasture,
اُس کے اندر سے اُس کا پانی اور چارہ نکالا
-
79:32
وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَرْسَىٰهَا
Waaljibala arsaha
And the mountains He set firmly
اور پہاڑ اس میں گاڑ دیے
-
79:33
مَتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum
As provision for you and your grazing livestock.
سامان زیست کے طور پر تمہارے لیے اور تمہارے مویشیوں کے لیے
-
79:34
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
Faitha jaati alttammatu alkubra
But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity -
پھر جب وہ ہنگامہ عظیم برپا ہوگا
-
79:35
يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ
Yawma yatathakkaru alinsanu ma saAAa
The Day when man will remember that for which he strove,
جس روز انسان اپنا سب کیا دھرا یاد کرے گا
-
79:36
وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ
Waburrizati aljaheemu liman yara
And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see -
اور ہر دیکھنے والے کے سامنے دوزخ کھول کر رکھ دی جائے گی
-
79:37
فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ
Faamma man tagha
So as for he who transgressed
تو جس نے سرکشی کی تھی
-
79:38
وَءَاثَرَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا
Waathara alhayata alddunya
And preferred the life of the world,
اور دنیا کی زندگی کو ترجیح دی تھی
-
79:39
فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ
Fainna aljaheema hiya almawa
Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge.
دوزخ ہی اس کا ٹھکانا ہوگی
-
79:40
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ
Waama man khafa maqama rabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa
But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,
اور جس نے اپنے رب کے سامنے کھڑے ہونے کا خوف کیا تھا اور نفس کو بری خواہشات سے باز رکھا تھا
-
79:41
فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ
Fainna aljannata hiya almawa
Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.
جنت اس کا ٹھکانا ہوگی
-
79:42
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا
Yasaloonaka AAani alssaAAati ayyana mursaha
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival?
یہ لوگ تم سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ "آخر وہ گھڑی کب آ کر ٹھیرے گی؟
-
79:43
فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَىٰهَآ
Feema anta min thikraha
In what [position] are you that you should mention it?
تمہارا کیا کام کہ اس کا وقت بتاؤ
-
79:44
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ
Ila rabbika muntahaha
To your Lord is its finality.
اس کا علم تو اللہ پر ختم ہے
-
79:45
إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰهَا
Innama anta munthiru man yakhshaha
You are only a warner for those who fear it.
تم صرف خبردار کرنے والے ہو ہر اُس شخص کو جو اُس کا خوف کرے
-
79:46
كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا
Kaannahum yawma yarawnaha lam yalbathoo illa AAashiyyatan aw duhaha
It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
جس روز یہ لوگ اسے دیکھ لیں گے تو انہیں یوں محسوس ہوگا کہ (یہ دنیا میں یا حالت موت میں) بس ایک دن کے پچھلے پہر یا اگلے پہر تک ٹھیرے ہیں
