This detector analyzes your text entirely in your browser and scores how strongly it matches the statistical fingerprint of typical AI-generated writing: very uniform sentence lengths (low burstiness), heavy use of stock phrases like 'delve into' and 'it is important to note', few contractions, repetitive sentence openers and unusually even paragraph structure. Unlike black-box checkers, every signal is shown to you with its own score, so you can see exactly why the text was or wasn't flagged.
Be aware of what any AI detector — including paid ones like Turnitin and GPTZero — can and cannot do: they estimate probability from patterns, they are not proof, and they produce real false positives, especially for non-native English writers. Treat the score as one signal, never as a verdict on a person.

How accurate is this AI detector?
Like all AI detectors, it estimates probability from writing patterns — it cannot prove anything. It is most reliable on longer, unedited text and least reliable on short or heavily edited text. No detector, free or paid, should be used as sole evidence against a writer.
Why was my own human writing flagged?
False positives are a known problem for every AI detector. Formal, uniform writing — common for non-native English speakers and academic styles — naturally shares patterns with AI text. That is exactly why scores should never be treated as proof.
What signals does it check?
Burstiness (variation in sentence length), lexical diversity, stock AI phrase density, repeated sentence openers, contraction rate, paragraph uniformity and punctuation patterns — the same families of signals commercial detectors use.
