بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 19:1

   كٓهيعٓصٓ

   KafhayaAAaynsad

   Kaf. Ha. Ya. 'Ain. Sad.

   ک، ہ، ی، ع، ص

2. 19:2

   ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ

   Thikru rahmati rabbika AAabdahu zakariyya

   (This is) a recital of the Mercy of thy Lord to His servant Zakariya.

   ذکر ہے اُس رحمت کا جو تیرے رب نے اپنے بندے زکریاؑ پر کی تھی

3. 19:3

   إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّۭا

   Ith nada rabbahu nidaan khafiyyan

   Behold! he cried to his Lord in secret,

   جبکہ اُس نے اپنے رب کو چپکے چپکے پکارا

4. 19:4

   قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَهَنَ ٱلْعَظْمُ مِنِّى وَٱشْتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأْسُ شَيْبًۭا وَلَمْ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّۭا

   Qala rabbi innee wahana alAAathmu minnee waishtaAAala alrrasu shayban walam akun biduAAaika rabbi shaqiyyan

   Praying: "O my Lord! infirm indeed are my bones, and the hair of my head doth glisten with grey: but never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer to Thee!

   اُس نے عرض کیا "اے پروردگار، میری ہڈیاں تک گھل گئی ہیں اور سر بڑھاپے سے بھڑک اٹھا ہے اے پروردگار، میں کبھی تجھ سے دعا مانگ کر نامراد نہیں رہا

5. 19:5

   وَإِنِّى خِفْتُ ٱلْمَوَٰلِىَ مِن وَرَآءِى وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا فَهَبْ لِى مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّۭا

   Wainnee khiftu almawaliya min waraee wakanati imraatee AAaqiran fahab lee min ladunka waliyyan

   "Now I fear (what) my relatives (and colleagues) (will do) after me: but my wife is barren: so give me an heir as from Thyself,-

   مجھے اپنے پیچھے اپنے بھائی بندوں کی برائیوں کا خوف ہے، اور میری بیوی بانجھ ہے تو مجھے اپنے فضلِ خاص سے ایک وارث عطا کر دے

6. 19:6

   يَرِثُنِى وَيَرِثُ مِنْ ءَالِ يَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَٱجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّۭا

   Yarithunee wayarithu min ali yaAAqooba waijAAalhu rabbi radiyyan

   "(One that) will (truly) represent me, and represent the posterity of Jacob; and make him, O my Lord! one with whom Thou art well-pleased!"

   جو میرا وارث بھی ہو اور آلِ یعقوب کی میراث بھی پائے، اور اے پروردگار، اُس کو ایک پسندیدہ انسان بنا

7. 19:7

   يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسْمُهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّۭا

   Ya zakariyya inna nubashshiruka bighulamin ismuhu yahya lam najAAal lahu min qablu samiyyan

   (His prayer was answered): "O Zakariya! We give thee good news of a son: His name shall be Yahya: on none by that name have We conferred distinction before."

   (جواب دیا گیا) "اے زکریاؑ، ہم تجھے ایک لڑکے کی بشارت دیتے ہیں جس کا نام یحییٰؑ ہو گا ہم نے اِس نام کا کوئی آدمی اس سے پہلے پیدا نہیں کیا

8. 19:8

   قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَٰمٌۭ وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ ٱلْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّۭا

   Qala rabbi anna yakoonu lee ghulamun wakanati imraatee AAaqiran waqad balaghtu mina alkibari AAitiyyan

   He said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son, when my wife is barren and I have grown quite decrepit from old age?"

   عرض کیا، "پروردگار، بھلا میرے ہاں کیسے بیٹا ہوگا جبکہ میری بیوی بانجھ ہے اور میں بوڑھا ہو کر سوکھ چکا ہوں؟

9. 19:9

   قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْـًۭٔا

   Qala kathalika qala rabbuka huwa AAalayya hayyinun waqad khalaqtuka min qablu walam taku shayan

   He said: "So (it will be) thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: I did indeed create thee before, when thou hadst been nothing!'"

   جواب ملا "ایسا ہی ہو گا تیرا رب فرماتا ہے کہ یہ تو میرے لیے ایک ذرا سی بات ہے، آخر اس سے پہلے میں تجھے پیدا کر چکا ہوں جب کہ تو کوئی چیز نہ تھا

10. 19:10

    قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۭ ۚ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٰثَ لَيَالٍۢ سَوِيًّۭا

    Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qala ayatuka alla tukallima alnnasa thalatha layalin sawiyyan

    (Zakariya) said: "O my Lord! give me a Sign." "Thy Sign," was the answer, "Shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three nights, although thou art not dumb."

    زکریاؑ نے کہا، "پروردگار، میرے لیے کوئی نشانی مقرر کر دے" فرمایا "تیرے لیے نشانی یہ ہے کہ تو پیہم تین دن لوگوں سے بات نہ کر سکے

11. 19:11

    فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْمِحْرَابِ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا

    Fakharaja AAala qawmihi mina almihrabi faawha ilayhim an sabbihoo bukratan waAAashiyyan

    So Zakariya came out to his people from him chamber: He told them by signs to celebrate Allah's praises in the morning and in the evening.

    چنانچہ وہ محراب سے نکل کر اپنی قوم کے سامنے آیا اور اس نے اشارے سے ان کو ہدایت کی کہ صبح و شام تسبیح کرو

12. 19:12

    يَٰيَحْيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍۢ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّۭا

    Ya yahya khuthi alkitaba biquwwatin waataynahu alhukma sabiyyan

    (To his son came the command): "O Yahya! take hold of the Book with might": and We gave him Wisdom even as a youth,

    اے یحییٰؑ! کتاب الٰہی کو مضبوط تھام لے" ہم نے اُسے بچپن ہی میں "حکم" سے نوازا

13. 19:13

    وَحَنَانًۭا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةًۭ ۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيًّۭا

    Wahananan min ladunna wazakatan wakana taqiyyan

    And piety (for all creatures) as from Us, and purity: He was devout,

    اور اپنی طرف سے اس کو نرم دلی اور پاکیزگی عطا کی اور وہ بڑا پرہیزگار

14. 19:14

    وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّۭا

    Wabarran biwalidayhi walam yakun jabbaran AAasiyyan

    And kind to his parents, and he was not overbearing or rebellious.

    اور اپنے والدین کا حق شناس تھا وہ جبّار نہ تھا اور نہ نافرمان

15. 19:15

    وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّۭا

    Wasalamun AAalayhi yawma wulida wayawma yamootu wayawma yubAAathu hayyan

    So Peace on him the day he was born, the day that he dies, and the day that he will be raised up to life (again)!

    سلام اُس پر جس روز کہ وہ پیدا ہوا اور جس دن وہ مرے اور جس روز وہ زندہ کر کے اٹھایا جائے

16. 19:16

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًۭا شَرْقِيًّۭا

    Waothkur fee alkitabi maryama ithi intabathat min ahliha makanan sharqiyyan

    Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.

    اور اے محمدؐ، اس کتاب میں مریم کا حال بیان کرو، جبکہ وہ اپنے لوگوں سے الگ ہو کر شرقی جانب گوشہ نشین ہو گئی تھی

17. 19:17

    فَٱتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًۭا فَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًۭا سَوِيًّۭا

    Faittakhathat min doonihim hijaban faarsalna ilayha roohana fatamaththala laha basharan sawiyyan

    She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.

    اور پردہ ڈال کر اُن سے چھپ بیٹھی تھی اس حالت میں ہم نے اس کے پاس اپنی روح کو (یعنی فرشتے کو) بھیجا اور وہ اس کے سامنے ایک پورے انسان کی شکل میں نمودار ہو گیا

18. 19:18

    قَالَتْ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّۭا

    Qalat innee aAAoothu bialrrahmani minka in kunta taqiyyan

    She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah."

    مریم یکایک بول اٹھی کہ"اگر تو کوئی خدا ترس آدمی ہے تو میں تجھ سے رحمٰن کی پناہ مانگتی ہوں

19. 19:19

    قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمًۭا زَكِيًّۭا

    Qala innama ana rasoolu rabbiki liahaba laki ghulaman zakiyyan

    He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.

    اُس نے کہا "میں تو تیرے رب کا فرستادہ ہوں اور اس لیے بھیجا گیا ہوں کہ تجھے ایک پاکیزہ لڑکا دوں

20. 19:20

    قَالَتْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَٰمٌۭ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَرٌۭ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّۭا

    Qalat anna yakoonu lee ghulamun walam yamsasnee basharun walam aku baghiyyan

    She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"

    مریم نے کہا "میرے ہاں کیسے لڑکا ہوگا جبکہ مجھے کسی بشر نے چھوا تک نہیں ہے اور میں کوئی بدکار عورت نہیں ہوں

21. 19:21

    قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ ۖ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرًۭا مَّقْضِيًّۭا

    Qala kathaliki qala rabbuki huwa AAalayya hayyinun walinajAAalahu ayatan lilnnasi warahmatan minna wakana amran maqdiyyan

    He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': It is a matter (so) decreed."

    فرشتے نے کہا "ایسا ہی ہوگا، تیرا رب فرماتا ہے کہ ایسا کرنا میرے لیے بہت آسان ہے اور ہم یہ اس لیے کریں گے کہ اُس لڑکے کو لوگوں کے لیے ایک نشانی بنائیں اور اپنی طرف سے ایک رحمت اور یہ کام ہو کر رہنا ہے

22. 19:22

    ۞ فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتْ بِهِۦ مَكَانًۭا قَصِيًّۭا

    Fahamalathu faintabathat bihi makanan qasiyyan

    So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.

    مریم کو اس بچے کا حمل رہ گیا اور وہ اس حمل کو لیے ہوئے ایک دُور کے مقام پر چلی گئی

23. 19:23

    فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَٰلَيْتَنِى مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًۭا مَّنسِيًّۭا

    Faajaaha almakhadu ila jithAAi alnnakhlati qalat ya laytanee mittu qabla hatha wakuntu nasyan mansiyyan

    And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"

    پھر زچگی کی تکلیف نے اُسے ایک کھُجور کے درخت کے نیچے پہنچا دیا وہ کہنے لگی " کاش میں اس سے پہلے ہی مر جاتی اور میرا نام و نشان نہ رہتا

24. 19:24

    فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحْتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحْزَنِى قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّۭا

    Fanadaha min tahtiha alla tahzanee qad jaAAala rabbuki tahtaki sariyyan

    But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

    فرشتے نے پائنتی سے اس کو پکار کر کہا "غم نے کر تیرے رب نے تیرے نیچے ایک چشمہ رواں کر دیا ہے

25. 19:25

    وَهُزِّىٓ إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ تُسَٰقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًۭا جَنِيًّۭا

    Wahuzzee ilayki bijithAAi alnnakhlati tusaqit AAalayki rutaban janiyyan

    "And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: It will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.

    اور تو ذرا اِس درخت کے تنے کو ہلا، تیرے اوپر تر و تازہ کھجوریں ٹپک پڑیں گی

26. 19:26

    فَكُلِى وَٱشْرَبِى وَقَرِّى عَيْنًۭا ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْبَشَرِ أَحَدًۭا فَقُولِىٓ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًۭا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّۭا

    Fakulee waishrabee waqarree AAaynan faimma tarayinna mina albashari ahadan faqoolee innee nathartu lilrrahmani sawman falan okallima alyawma insiyyan

    "So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man, say, 'I have vowed a fast to (Allah) Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into not talk with any human being'"

    پس تو کھا اور پی اور اپنی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی کر پھر اگر کوئی آدمی تجھے نظر آئے تو اس سے کہہ دے کہ میں نے رحمان کے لیے روزے کی نذر مانی ہے، اس لیے آج میں کسی سے نہ بولوں گی

27. 19:27

    فَأَتَتْ بِهِۦ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُۥ ۖ قَالُوا۟ يَٰمَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْـًۭٔا فَرِيًّۭا

    Faatat bihi qawmaha tahmiluhu qaloo ya maryamu laqad jiti shayan fariyyan

    At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!

    پھر وہ اس بچے کو لیے ہوئے اپنی قوم میں آئی لوگ کہنے لگے " اے مریم، یہ تو تُو نے بڑا پاپ کر ڈالا

28. 19:28

    يَٰٓأُخْتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمْرَأَ سَوْءٍۢ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّۭا

    Ya okhta haroona ma kana abooki imraa sawin wama kanat ommuki baghiyyan

    "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"

    اے ہارون کی بہن، نہ تیرا باپ کوئی برا آدمی تھا اور نہ تیری ماں ہی کوئی بدکار عورت تھی

29. 19:29

    فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّۭا

    Faasharat ilayhi qaloo kayfa nukallimu man kana fee almahdi sabiyyan

    But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"

    مریم نے بچے کی طرف اشارہ کر دیا لوگوں نے کہا " ہم اِس سے کیا بات کریں جو گہوارے میں پڑا ہوا ایک بچہ ہے؟

30. 19:30

    قَالَ إِنِّى عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِىَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِى نَبِيًّۭا

    Qala innee AAabdu Allahi ataniya alkitaba wajaAAalanee nabiyyan

    He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

    بچہ بول اٹھا "میں اللہ کا بندہ ہوں اُس نے مجھے کتاب دی، اور نبی بنایا

31. 19:31

    وَجَعَلَنِى مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَٰنِى بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّۭا

    WajaAAalanee mubarakan ayna ma kuntu waawsanee bialssalati waalzzakati ma dumtu hayyan

    "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

    اور بابرکت کیا جہاں بھی میں رہوں، اور نماز اور زکوٰۃ کی پابندی کا حکم دیا جب تک میں زندہ رہوں

32. 19:32

    وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِى وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِى جَبَّارًۭا شَقِيًّۭا

    Wabarran biwalidatee walam yajAAalnee jabbaran shaqiyyan

    "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;

    اور اپنی والدہ کا حق ادا کرنے والا بنایا، اور مجھ کو جبّار اور شقی نہیں بنایا

33. 19:33

    وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّۭا

    Waalssalamu AAalayya yawma wulidtu wayawma amootu wayawma obAAathu hayyan

    "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

    سلام ہے مجھ پر جبکہ میں پیدا ہوا اور جبکہ میں مروں اور جبکہ زندہ کر کے اٹھایا جاؤں

34. 19:34

    ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قَوْلَ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ

    Thalika AAeesa ibnu maryama qawla alhaqqi allathee feehi yamtaroona

    Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.

    یہ ہے عیسٰی ابن مریم اور یہ ہے اُس کے بارے میں وہ سچی بات جس میں لوگ شک کر رہے ہیں

35. 19:35

    مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍۢ ۖ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

    Ma kana lillahi an yattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qada amran fainnama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu

    It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

    اللہ کا یہ کام نہیں ہے کہ وہ کسی کو بیٹا بنائے وہ پاک ذات ہے وہ جب کسی بات کا فیصلہ کرتا ہے تو کہتا ہے کہ ہو جا، اور بس وہ ہو جاتی ہے

36. 19:36

    وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ

    Wainna Allaha rabbee warabbukum faoAAbudoohu hatha siratun mustaqeemun

    Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve ye: this is a Way that is straight.

    (اور عیسٰیؑ نے کہا تھا کہ) "اللہ میرا رب بھی ہے اور تمہارا رب بھی، پس تم اُسی کی بندگی کرو، یہی سیدھی راہ ہے

37. 19:37

    فَٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

    Faikhtalafa alahzabu min baynihim fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min mashhadi yawmin AAatheemin

    But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day!

    مگر پھر مختلف گروہ باہم اختلاف کرنے لگے سو جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ان کے لیے وہ وقت بڑی تباہی کا ہوگا

38. 19:38

    أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا ۖ لَٰكِنِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

    AsmiAA bihim waabsir yawma yatoonana lakini alththalimoona alyawma fee dalalin mubeenin

    How plainly will they see and hear, the Day that they will appear before Us! but the unjust today are in error manifest!

    جب کہ وہ ایک بڑا دن دیکھیں گے جب وہ ہمارے سامنے حاضر ہوں گے اُس روز تو اُن کے کان بھی خوب سُن رہے ہوں گے اور اُن کی آنکھیں بھی خوب دیکھتی ہوں گی، مگر آج یہ ظالم کھلی گمراہی میں مبتلا ہیں

39. 19:39

    وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِى غَفْلَةٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Waanthirhum yawma alhasrati ith qudiya alamru wahum fee ghaflatin wahum la yuminoona

    But warn them of the Day of Distress, when the matter will be determined: for (behold,) they are negligent and they do not believe!

    اے نبیؐ، اِس حالت میں جبکہ یہ لوگ غافل ہیں اور ایمان نہیں لا رہے ہیں، اِنہیں اس دن سے ڈرا دو جبکہ فیصلہ کر دیا جائے گا اور پچھتاوے کے سوا کوئی چارہ کار نہ ہوگا

40. 19:40

    إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ

    Inna nahnu narithu alarda waman AAalayha wailayna yurjaAAoona

    It is We Who will inherit the earth, and all beings thereon: to Us will they all be returned.

    آخرکار ہم ہی زمین اور اس کی ساری چیزوں کے وارث ہوں گے اور سب ہماری طرف ہی پلٹائے جائیں گے

41. 19:41

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّا

    Waothkur fee alkitabi ibraheema innahu kana siddeeqan nabiyyan

    (Also mention in the Book (the story of) Abraham: He was a man of Truth, a prophet.

    اور اس کتاب میں ابراہیمؑ کا قصہ بیان کرو، بے شک وہ ایک راست باز انسان اور ایک نبی تھا

42. 19:42

    إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْـًۭٔا

    Ith qala liabeehi ya abati lima taAAbudu ma la yasmaAAu wala yubsiru wala yughnee AAanka shayan

    Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing?

    (انہیں ذرا اُس موقع کی یاد دلاؤ) جبکہ اُس نے اپنے باپ سے کہا کہ "ابّا جان، آپ کیوں اُن چیزوں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو نہ سنتی ہیں نہ دیکھتی ہیں اور نہ آپ کا کوئی کام بنا سکتی ہیں؟

43. 19:43

    يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى قَدْ جَآءَنِى مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ أَهْدِكَ صِرَٰطًۭا سَوِيًّۭا

    Ya abati innee qad jaanee mina alAAilmi ma lam yatika faittabiAAnee ahdika siratan sawiyyan

    "O my father! to me hath come knowledge which hath not reached thee: so follow me: I will guide thee to a way that is even and straight.

    ابّا جان، میرے پاس ایک ایسا عِلم آیا ہے جو آپ کے پاس نہیں آیا، آپ میرے پیچھے چلیں، میں آپ کو سیدھا راستہ بتاؤں گا

44. 19:44

    يَٰٓأَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّۭا

    Ya abati la taAAbudi alshshaytana inna alshshaytana kana lilrrahmani AAasiyyan

    "O my father! serve not Satan: for Satan is a rebel against (Allah) Most Gracious.

    ابّا جان! آپ شیطان کی بندگی نہ کریں، شیطان تو رحمٰن کا نافرمان ہے

45. 19:45

    يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيًّۭا

    Ya abati innee akhafu an yamassaka AAathabun mina alrrahmani fatakoona lilshshyatani waliyyan

    "O my father! I fear lest a Penalty afflict thee from (Allah) Most Gracious, so that thou become to Satan a friend."

    ابّا جان، مجھے ڈر ہے کہ کہیں آپ رحمان کے عذاب میں مُبتلا نہ ہو جائیں اور شیطان کے ساتھی بن کر رہیں

46. 19:46

    قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ ءَالِهَتِى يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ وَٱهْجُرْنِى مَلِيًّۭا

    Qala araghibun anta AAan alihatee ya ibraheemu lain lam tantahi laarjumannaka waohjurnee maliyyan

    (The father) replied: "Dost thou hate my gods, O Abraham? If thou forbear not, I will indeed stone thee: Now get away from me for a good long while!"

    باپ نے کہا "ابراہیمؑ، کیا تو میرے معبُودوں سے پھر گیا ہے؟ اگر تو باز نہ آیا تو میں تجھے سنگسار کر دوں گا بس تو ہمیشہ کے لیے مجھ سے الگ ہو جا

47. 19:47

    قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكَ ۖ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّىٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِى حَفِيًّۭا

    Qala salamun AAalayka saastaghfiru laka rabbee innahu kana bee hafiyyan

    Abraham said: "Peace be on thee: I will pray to my Lord for thy forgiveness: for He is to me Most Gracious.

    ابراہیمؑ نے کہا "سلام ہے آپ کو میں اپنے رب سے دُعا کروں گا کہ آپ کو معاف کر دے، میرا رب مجھ پر بڑا ہی مہربان ہے

48. 19:48

    وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّى شَقِيًّۭا

    WaaAAtazilukum wama tadAAoona min dooni Allahi waadAAoo rabbee AAasa alla akoona biduAAai rabbee shaqiyyan

    "And I will turn away from you (all) and from those whom ye invoke besides Allah: I will call on my Lord: perhaps, by my prayer to my Lord, I shall be not unblest."

    میں آپ لوگوں کو بھی چھوڑتا ہوں اور اُن ہستیوں کو بھی جنہیں آپ لوگ خدا کو چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے ہیں میں تو اپنے رب ہی کو پکاروں گا، امید ہے کہ میں اپنے رب کو پکار کے نامراد نہ رہوں گا

49. 19:49

    فَلَمَّا ٱعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّۭا

    Falamma iAAtazalahum wama yaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi wahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba wakullan jaAAalna nabiyyan

    When he had turned away from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, and each one of them We made a prophet.

    پس جب وہ اُن لوگوں سے اور اُن کے معبُودانِ غیر اللہ سے جُدا ہو گیا تو ہم نے اُس کو اسحاقؑ اور یعقوبؑ جیسی اولاد دی اور ہر ایک کو نبی بنایا

50. 19:50

    وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّۭا

    Wawahabna lahum min rahmatina wajaAAalna lahum lisana sidqin AAaliyyan

    And We bestowed of Our Mercy on them, and We granted them lofty honour on the tongue of truth.

    اور ان کو اپنی رحمت سے نوازا اور ان کو سچی ناموری عطا کی

51. 19:51

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخْلَصًۭا وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا

    Waothkur fee alkitabi moosa innahu kana mukhlasan wakana rasoolan nabiyyan

    Also mention in the Book (the story of) Moses: for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.

    اور ذکر کرو اس کتاب میں موسیٰؑ کا وہ ایک چیدہ شخص تھا اور رسول نبی تھا

52. 19:52

    وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلْأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَٰهُ نَجِيًّۭا

    Wanadaynahu min janibi alttoori alaymani waqarrabnahu najiyyan

    And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse).

    ہم نے اُس کو طُور کے داہنی جانب سے پکارا اور راز کی گفتگو سے اس کو تقرب عطا کیا

53. 19:53

    وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيًّۭا

    Wawahabna lahu min rahmatina akhahu haroona nabiyyan

    And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet.

    اور اپنی مہربانی سے اس کے بھائی ہارونؑ کو نبی بنا کر اُسے (مدد گار کے طور پر) دیا

54. 19:54

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا

    Waothkur fee alkitabi ismaAAeela innahu kana sadiqa alwaAAdi wakana rasoolan nabiyyan

    Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma'il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.

    اور اس کتاب میں اسماعیلؑ کا ذکر کرو وہ وعدے کا سچا تھا اور رسُول نبی تھا

55. 19:55

    وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرْضِيًّۭا

    Wakana yamuru ahlahu bialssalati waalzzakati wakana AAinda rabbihi mardiyyan

    He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord.

    وہ اپنے گھر والوں کو نماز اور زکوٰۃ کا حکم دیتا تھا اور اپنے رب کے نزدیک ایک پسندیدہ انسان تھا

56. 19:56

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا

    Waothkur fee alkitabi idreesa innahu kana siddeeqan nabiyyan

    Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet:

    اور اس کتاب میں ادریسؑ کا ذکر کرو وہ ایک راستباز انسان اور ایک نبی تھا

57. 19:57

    وَرَفَعْنَٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا

    WarafaAAnahu makanan AAaliyyan

    And We raised him to a lofty station.

    اور اسے ہم نے بلند مقام پر اٹھایا تھا

58. 19:58

    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۢ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَبُكِيًّۭا ۩

    Olaika allatheena anAAama Allahu AAalayhim mina alnnabiyyeena min thurriyyati adama wamimman hamalna maAAa noohin wamin thurriyyati ibraheema waisraeela wamimman hadayna waijtabayna itha tutla AAalayhim ayatu alrrahmani kharroo sujjadan wabukiyyan

    Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears.

    یہ وہ پیغمبر ہیں جن پر اللہ نے انعام فرمایا آدمؑ کی اولاد میں سے، اور اُن لوگوں کی نسل سے جنہیں ہم نے نوحؑ کے ساتھ کشتی پر سوار کیا تھا، ا ور ابراہیمؑ کی نسل سے اور اسرائیلؑ کی نسل سے اور یہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جن کو ہم نے ہدایت بخشی اور برگزیدہ کیا ان کا حال یہ تھا کہ جب رحمان کی آیات ان کو سنائی جاتیں تو روتے ہوئے سجدے میں گر جاتے تھے

59. 19:59

    ۞ فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا

    Fakhalafa min baAAdihim khalfun adaAAoo alssalata waittabaAAoo alshshahawati fasawfa yalqawna ghayyan

    But after them there followed a posterity who missed prayers and followed after lusts soon, then, will they face Destruction,-

    پھر ان کے بعد وہ ناخلف لوگ ان کے جانشین ہوئے جنہوں نے نماز کو ضائع کیا اور خواہشاتِ نفس کی پیروی کی، پس قریب ہے کہ وہ گمراہی کے انجام سے دوچار ہوں

60. 19:60

    إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا

    Illa man taba waamana waAAamila salihan faolaika yadkhuloona aljannata wala yuthlamoona shayan

    Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,-

    البتہ جو توبہ کر لیں اور ایمان لے آئیں اور نیک عملی اختیار کر لیں وہ جنّت میں داخل ہوں گے اور ان کی ذرّہ برابر حق تلفی نہ ہو گی

61. 19:61

    جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعْدُهُۥ مَأْتِيًّۭا

    Jannati AAadnin allatee waAAada alrrahmanu AAibadahu bialghaybi innahu kana waAAduhu matiyyan

    Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen: for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass.

    ان کے لیے ہمیشہ رہنے والی جنتیں ہیں جن کا رحمان نے اپنے بندوں سے در پردہ وعدہ کر رکھا ہے اور یقیناً یہ وعدہ پُورا ہو کر رہنا ہے

62. 19:62

    لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا

    La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwan illa salaman walahum rizquhum feeha bukratan waAAashiyyan

    They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace: And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening.

    وہاں وہ کوئی بے ہودہ بات نہ سُنیں گے، جو کچھ بھی سُنیں گے ٹھیک ہی سنیں گے اور ان کا رزق انہیں پیہم صبح و شام ملتا رہے گا

63. 19:63

    تِلْكَ ٱلْجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِى نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيًّۭا

    Tilka aljannatu allatee noorithu min AAibadina man kana taqiyyan

    Such is the Garden which We give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who guard against Evil.

    یہ ہے وہ جنت جس کا وارث ہم اپنے بندوں میں سے اُس کو بنائیں گے جو پرہیزگار رہا ہے

64. 19:64

    وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَهُۥ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّۭا

    Wama natanazzalu illa biamri rabbika lahu ma bayna aydeena wama khalfana wama bayna thalika wama kana rabbuka nasiyyan

    (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,-

    اے محمدؐ، ہم تمہارے رب کے حکم کے بغیر نہیں اُترا کرتے جو کچھ ہمارے آگے ہے اور جو کچھ پیچھے ہے اور جو کچھ اس کے درمیان ہے ہر چیز کا مالک وہی ہے اور تمہارا رب بھولنے والا نہیں ہے

65. 19:65

    رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَٱعْبُدْهُ وَٱصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِيًّۭا

    Rabbu alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma faoAAbudhu waistabir liAAibadatihi hal taAAlamu lahu samiyyan

    "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?"

    وہ رب ہے آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا اور اُن ساری چیزوں کا جو آسمان و زمین کے درمیان ہیں پس تم اُس کے بندگی کرو اور اُسی کی بندگی پر ثابت قدم رہو کیا ہے کوئی ہستی تمہارے علم میں اس کی ہم پایہ؟

66. 19:66

    وَيَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَءِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيًّا

    Wayaqoolu alinsanu aitha ma mittu lasawfa okhraju hayyan

    Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"

    انسان کہتا ہے کیا واقعی جب میں مر چکوں گا تو پھر زندہ کر کے نکال لایا جاؤں گا؟

67. 19:67

    أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْـًۭٔا

    Awala yathkuru alinsanu anna khalaqnahu min qablu walam yaku shayan

    But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?

    کیا انسان کو یاد نہیں آتا کہ ہم پہلے اس کو پیدا کر چکے ہیں جبکہ وہ کچھ بھی نہ تھا؟

68. 19:68

    فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّۭا

    Fawarabbika lanahshurannahum waalshshayateena thumma lanuhdirannahum hawla jahannama jithiyyan

    So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell;

    تیرے رب کی قسم، ہم ضرور ان سب کو اور ان کے ساتھ شیاطین کو بھی گھیر لائیں گے، پھر جہنم کے گرد لا کر انہیں گھٹنوں کے بل گرا دیں گے

69. 19:69

    ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عِتِيًّۭا

    Thumma lananziAAanna min kulli sheeAAatin ayyuhum ashaddu AAala alrrahmani AAitiyyan

    Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious.

    پھر ہر گروہ میں سے ہر اُس شخص کو چھانٹ لیں گے جو رحمان کے مقابلے میں زیادہ سرکش بنا ہُوا تھا

70. 19:70

    ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيًّۭا

    Thumma lanahnu aAAlamu biallatheena hum awla biha siliyyan

    And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein.

    پھر یہ ہم جانتے ہیں کہ ان میں سے کون سب سے بڑھ کر جہنم میں جھونکے جانے کا مستحق ہے

71. 19:71

    وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًۭا مَّقْضِيًّۭا

    Wain minkum illa wariduha kana AAala rabbika hatman maqdiyyan

    Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.

    تم میں سے کوئی ایسا نہیں ہے جو جہنم پر وارد نہ ہو، یہ تو ایک طے شدہ بات ہے جسے پُورا کرنا تیرے رب کا ذمہ ہے

72. 19:72

    ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّۭا

    Thumma nunajjee allatheena ittaqaw wanatharu alththalimeena feeha jithiyyan

    But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees.

    پھر ہم اُن لوگوں کو بچا لیں گے جو (دنیا میں) متقی تھے اور ظالموں کو اُسی میں گرا ہُوا چھوڑ دیں گے

73. 19:73

    وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌۭ مَّقَامًۭا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّۭا

    Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheena amanoo ayyu alfareeqayni khayrun maqaman waahsanu nadiyyan

    When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?"

    اِن لوگوں کو جب ہماری کھُلی کھُلی آیات سنائی جاتی ہیں تو انکار کرنے والے ایمان لانے والوں سے کہتے ہیں "بتاؤ ہم دونوں گروہوں میں سے کون بہتر حالت میں ہے اور کس کی مجلسیں زیادہ شاندار ہیں؟

74. 19:74

    وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَٰثًۭا وَرِءْيًۭا

    Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hum ahsanu athathan wariyan

    But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye?

    حالانکہ ان سے پہلے ہم کتنی ہی ایسی قوموں کو ہلاک کر چکے ہیں جو اِن سے زیادہ سر و سامان رکھتی تھیں اور ظاہری شان و شوکت میں اِن سے بڑھی ہوئی تھیں

75. 19:75

    قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مَدًّا ۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْا۟ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًۭا

    Qul man kana fee alddalalati falyamdud lahu alrrahmanu maddan hatta itha raaw ma yooAAadoona imma alAAathaba waimma alssaAAata fasayaAAlamoona man huwa sharrun makanan waadAAafu jundan

    Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces!

    اِن سے کہو، جو شخص گمراہی میں مُبتلا ہوتا ہے اُسے رحمان ڈھیل دیا کرتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب ایسے لوگ وہ چیز دیکھ لیتے ہیں جس کا اُن سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے خواہ وہ عذاب الٰہی ہو یا قیامت کی گھڑی تب انہیں معلوم ہو جاتا ہے کہ کس کا حال خراب ہے اور کس کا جتھا کمزور

76. 19:76

    وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ هُدًۭى ۗ وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًۭا وَخَيْرٌۭ مَّرَدًّا

    Wayazeedu Allahu allatheena ihtadaw hudan waalbaqiyatu alssalihatu khayrun AAinda rabbika thawaban wakhayrun maraddan

    "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return."

    اس کے برعکس جو لوگ راہِ راست اختیار کرتے ہیں اللہ ان کو راست روی میں ترقی عطا فرماتا ہے اور باقی رہ جانے والی نیکیاں ہی تیرے رب کے نزدیک جزا اور انجام کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہیں

77. 19:77

    أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًۭا وَوَلَدًا

    Afaraayta allathee kafara biayatina waqala laootayanna malan wawaladan

    Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?"

    پھر تو نے دیکھا اُس شخص کو جو ہماری آیات کو ماننے سے انکار کرتا ہے اور کہتا ہے کہ میں تو مال اور اولاد سے نوازا ہی جاتا رہوں گا؟

78. 19:78

    أَطَّلَعَ ٱلْغَيْبَ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًۭا

    AttalaAAa alghayba ami ittakhatha AAinda alrrahmani AAahdan

    Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious?

    کیا اسے غیب کا پتہ چل گیا ہے یا اس نے رحمان سے کوئی عہد لے رکھا ہے؟

79. 19:79

    كَلَّا ۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ مَدًّۭا

    Kalla sanaktubu ma yaqoolu wanamuddu lahu mina alAAathabi maddan

    Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment.

    ہرگز نہیں، جو کچھ یہ بکتا ہے اسے ہم لکھ لیں گے اور اس کے لیے سزا میں اور زیادہ اضافہ کریں گے

80. 19:80

    وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًۭا

    Wanarithuhu ma yaqoolu wayateena fardan

    To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone.

    جس سر و سامان اور لاؤ لشکر کا یہ ذکر کر رہا ہے وہ سب ہمارے پاس رہ جائے گا اور یہ اکیلا ہمارے سامنے حاضر ہوگا

81. 19:81

    وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةًۭ لِّيَكُونُوا۟ لَهُمْ عِزًّۭا

    Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahi alihatan liyakoonoo lahum AAizzan

    And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory!

    اِن لوگوں نے اللہ کو چھوڑ کر اپنے کچھ خدا بنا رکھے ہیں تاکہ وہ اِن کے پشتیبان ہوں

82. 19:82

    كَلَّا ۚ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا

    Kalla sayakfuroona biAAibadatihim wayakoonoona AAalayhim diddan

    Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them.

    کوئی پشتیبان نہ ہوگا وہ سب ان کی عبادت کا انکار کریں گے اور الٹے اِن کے مخالف بن جائیں گے

83. 19:83

    أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّۭا

    Alam tara anna arsalna alshshayateena AAala alkafireena taozzuhum azzan

    Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury?

    کیا تم دیکھتے نہیں ہو کہ ہم نے اِن منکرین حق پر شیاطین چھوڑ رکھے ہیں جو اِنہیں خُوب خُوب (مخالفتِ حق پر) اکسا رہے ہیں؟

84. 19:84

    فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّۭا

    Fala taAAjal AAalayhim innama naAAuddu lahum AAaddan

    So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days).

    اچھا، تو اب اِن پر نزول عذاب کے لیے بیتاب نہ ہو ہم اِن کے دن گن رہے ہیں

85. 19:85

    يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًۭا

    Yawma nahshuru almuttaqeena ila alrrahmani wafdan

    The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours,

    وہ دن آنے والا ہے جب متقی لوگوں کو ہم مہمانوں کی طرح رحمان کے حضور پیش کریں گے

86. 19:86

    وَنَسُوقُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًۭا

    Wanasooqu almujrimeena ila jahannama wirdan

    And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,-

    اور مجرموں کو پیاسے جانوروں کی طرح جہنم کی طرف ہانک لے جائیں گے

87. 19:87

    لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًۭا

    La yamlikoona alshshafaAAata illa mani ittakhatha AAinda alrrahmani AAahdan

    None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious.

    اُس وقت لوگ کوئی سفارش لانے پر قادر نہ ہوں گے بجز اُس کے جس نے رحمان کے حضور سے پروانہ حاصل کر لیا ہو

88. 19:88

    وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًۭا

    Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanu waladan

    They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!"

    وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رحمان نے کسی کو بیٹا بنایا ہے

89. 19:89

    لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِدًّۭا

    Laqad jitum shayan iddan

    Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!

    سخت بیہودہ بات ہے جوتم لوگ گھڑ لائے ہو

90. 19:90

    تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدًّا

    Takadu alssamawatu yatafattarna minhu watanshaqqu alardu watakhirru aljibalu haddan

    At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,

    قریب ہے کہ آسمان پھٹ پڑیں، زمین شق ہو جائے اور پہاڑ گر جائیں

91. 19:91

    أَن دَعَوْا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًۭا

    An daAAaw lilrrahmani waladan

    That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious.

    اس بات پر کہ لوگوں نے رحمان کے لیے اولاد ہونے کا دعویٰ کیا

92. 19:92

    وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا

    Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmani an yattakhitha waladan

    For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.

    رحمان کی یہ شان نہیں ہے کہ وہ کسی کو بیٹا بنائے

93. 19:93

    إِن كُلُّ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًۭا

    In kullu man fee alssamawati waalardi illa atee alrrahmani AAabdan

    Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant.

    زمین اور آسمان کے اندر جو بھی ہیں سب اس کے حضور بندوں کی حیثیت سے پیش ہونے والے ہیں

94. 19:94

    لَّقَدْ أَحْصَىٰهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّۭا

    Laqad ahsahum waAAaddahum AAaddan

    He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly.

    سب پر وہ محیط ہے اور اس نے اُن کو شمار کر رکھا ہے

95. 19:95

    وَكُلُّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَرْدًا

    Wakulluhum ateehi yawma alqiyamati fardan

    And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment.

    سب قیامت کے روز فرداً فرداً اس کے سامنے حاضر ہوں گے

96. 19:96

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّۭا

    Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati sayajAAalu lahumu alrrahmanu wuddan

    On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love.

    یقیناً جو لوگ ایمان لے آئے ہیں اور عمل صالح کر رہے ہیں عنقریب رحمان اُن کے لیے دلوں میں محبت پیدا کر دے گا

97. 19:97

    فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًۭا لُّدًّۭا

    Fainnama yassarnahu bilisanika litubashshira bihi almuttaqeena watunthira bihi qawman luddan

    So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.

    پس اے محمدؐ، اِس کلام کو ہم نے آسان کر کے تمہاری زبان میں اسی لیے نازل کیا ہے کہ تم پرہیز گاروں کو خوشخبری دے دو اور ہٹ دھرم لوگوں کو ڈرا دو

98. 19:98

    وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا

    Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hal tuhissu minhum min ahadin aw tasmaAAu lahum rikzan

    But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them?

    ان سے پہلے ہم کتنی ہی قوموں کو ہلاک کر چکے ہیں، پھر آج کہیں تم ان کا نشان پاتے ہو یا اُن کی بھنک بھی کہیں سنائی دیتی ہے؟
