(LMT) announced a framework agreement with the U.S. Department of War to rapidly accelerate the production and delivery of the AIM-260, Joint Advanced Tactical Missile. This agreement is the basis for a multiyear procurement contract, which is subject to Congressional approval. The contract would provide long-term demand, helping strengthen and expand the defense industry supporting the program.
