Dots and Boxes is the pencil-and-paper game a lot of us played at school. Take turns drawing lines between dots, and whoever closes a box claims it. The player with the most boxes at the end wins.
How to play
- Players take turns drawing one line between two neighbouring dots.
- Complete the fourth side of a box to claim it.
- When you claim a box, you get another turn.
- When every box is taken, the most boxes wins.

Tips
- Avoid drawing the third side of a box. It hands your opponent a free point.
- Late in the game, try to force your opponent to open the long chains.
- Count the chains before you make a move near the end.
