(RTTNews) - The New York Stock Exchange, part of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), and Korea Exchange, the sole securities exchange operator in South Korea, announced on Thursday that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on business activities aimed at expanding access to global capital markets. The exchanges said the collaboration will leverage their expertise to drive innovation across U.S. and Korean markets. They may establish a NYSE-KRX Joint Collaboration Council to support implementation of the memorandum's goals. In pre-market activity on the NYSE, shares of Intercontinental Exchange were up 1.03 percent, changing hands at $159.49, after closing Wednesday's regular session 1.10 percent lower.
