The Four Seasons legend recently cancelled his remaining 2026 tour dates to focus on his health
The Four Seasons legend, who turned 92 earlier this year, recently cancelled his remaining 2026 tour dates to focus on his health .
Last week, his brother Bobby Valli took to social media to announce that The Four Seasons legend was retiring.
Alongside a photograph of them together that was taken in 2025, he wrote on Facebook : “MY BROTHER FRANKIE WHOM I AM SO PROUD OF AND LOVE HIM DEARLY. HE HAS HAD A WONDERFUL LIFE A DREAM COME TRUE. HE IS AN INCREDIBLE SINGER. HAS HAD AN MAGNIFICENT CAREER IN MUSIC AN ICON A LIVING LEGEND. HE HAS MILLIONS OF FANS WHO LOVE HIM DEARLY.”
After listing his brother’s achievements over the years, Bobby added: “HE WILL NOW RETIRE.”
But Frankie has now denied his brother’s claims, writing on his own Instagram page: “In spite of what you might have heard, I am not retired.”
His brother, also put out a statement on Facebook saying: “I apologise, I was misinformed. I was under the impression my brother Frankie was retiring. Hoping for him to have a speedy recovery. to continue his illustrious career!”
Valli was set to continue his farewell, ‘The Last Encores Tour’, which began in 2023, until November of this year.
