Anthony Bourdain receives the biopic treatment in comedy-drama Tony .

Directed by Matt Johnson ( BlackBerry ), the film follows the late chef’s early years working in Massachusetts, as he takes a summer job at a Cape Cod restaurant.

The film’s plot is based on stories from Bourdain’s 2000 memoir Kitchen Confidential . Domnic Sessa plays the lead role, alongside Antonio Banderas, Emilia Jones, Dagmara Domińczyk, Rich Sommer, Stavros Halkias and Leo Woodall.

The film’s score is by Jay McCarrol, who has previously collaborated with director Matt Johnson on all his other films, including Nirvana The Band The Show The Movie , The Dirties and Operation Avalanche .
