Dan Ives sets $190 SpaceX price target

Dan Ives, the former global head of technology research at Wedbush, has set a price target of $190 per share for SpaceX stock (NASDAQ: SPCX). Ives left Wedbush in July to launch a merchant bank, but he still shares his outlook on the tech market. He believes SpaceX is positioned to become a major hyperscaler, combining connectivity, launch services, and AI infrastructure under one roof.

SpaceX’s latest earnings show the company’s three main businesses are growing fast. In the second quarter of 2026, the connectivity arm, Starlink, brought in $4.3 billion, driven by 12 million satellite‑internet customers and more than 10 000 satellites in orbit. The launch business earned $962 million, funding satellite launches and future orbital data centers. The AI segment generated $2.6 billion, a 247 % jump from last year, with $14.1 billion in contracted sales and $1.6 billion of revenue recognized this quarter. These numbers feed Ives’s bullish view.

If an investor bought SpaceX shares at the August 5 close of $108.27, a $10 000 investment would yield 75 shares. Should the stock hit Ives’s target of $190, that investment would be worth about $14 250, a 42 % gain. The median price target among 37 analysts is $217, with a range from $75 to $800. These targets are estimates, not guarantees, but they help investors weigh potential rewards against risks.

The market will watch how SpaceX’s vertical integration and AI contracts play out. A rise to $190 would signal strong confidence in the company’s ability to scale its services and generate new revenue streams.
