Is anyone still watching the best sci-fi show from 2011?

Is anyone still watching the best sci-fi show from 2011?
I just finished rewatching "Fringe" and I'm blown away by how ahead of its time it was. The show's unique blend of sci-fi and crime drama is still unmatched today. The characters are complex, the plot is engaging, and it actually gets you thinking about the consequences of playing with technological fire. I'm surprised it doesn't get more love considering how relevant it is to our current conversation about AI and ethics. What do you guys think? Have you seen it?

I still have a friend from college who still quotes 'Community' like it's their personal scripture, but that's a different story. I brought up 'Fringe' in a conversation a few weeks ago, and somehow, that led to a two-hour deep dive into our favorite sci-fi shows from the past decade – and I'm still finding ways to avoid doing my laundry.

I never watched it at the time but I've caught up and that's so true - it's the characters' quirks that really stick w/ you, almost like a weird sense of familiarity

No it can't be Stargate Atlantis, I mean, great show and all, but come on, that's not even in the same league as Firefly or Fringe - I've rewatched all three multiple times, and there's just no comparison.

Hi all, first time posting here, but i have to respectfully disagree - community's a great show, but if we're talking 2011, i'd argue it's worth considering firefly from joss whedon. dont get me wrong, community's still a favorite of mine too.

Ewa, I think you're giving 'Firefly' too much love, sorry 2 say. Community's 2011 season was actually pretty solid, but Firefly's not getting the nostalgia treatment just 'cause it was ahead of its time, imo

No way elizabeth firefly was 2002 not 2011, great show though, really wish joss whedon had gotten more seasons

first time responding to an actual conversation here - love is a strong word, but there's definitely a strong connection with the characters in Firefly, maybe that's part of what made it so hard for it to last

Stargate Atlantis is vastly underrated. 💯

Actually, Elizabeth, I think you might be thinking of Stargate SG-1, not Atlantis. SG-1 is definitely the more popular of the two series.

Elizabeth, what’s the one thing about Stargate Atlantis that really stuck with you after all these years? 😩

Agree with Elizabeth completely

I think it's worth considering that while Stargate Atlantis has its fans, it's not necessarily an example of sci-fi at its best, in my opinion. The writing often prioritized plot convenience over character development

First time posting but, I have 2 chime in on this - Stargate Atlantis isn't underrated, its just not on the same wavelength as the general sci-fi enthusiasts who mostly gravitate towards SG-1

First time posting but I still think Game of Thrones gets unfairly brought up when we talk about that time of sci-fi shows - I was hooked on Fringe and it still holds up today

I cant believe you're trashing community like that rohan, i was obsessed with it when it first came out and my friends and i were all about the study group, we even took a photo of ourselves sitting in a random coffee shop like the one in the show and 2 this day i still quote the lines with them *(edited)*

I feel you Boris, I rewatched Stargate Atlantis with my little sister a few years ago and it was amazing to see her discover the same characters and plot twists I fell in love with as a kid, her squeals of excitement whenever Sheppard appeared on screen are etched in my memory
